Oh, thank you for the color change! It is wonderful!!! And may we walk in the Spirit as we seek His righteousness! God bless you!

    Hi George!
Per your recommendation, I followed up Proverbs 21:3 with reading 1st Samuel 15:1-23. Stunning! I especially liked verses 22 and 23: “Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the voice of the LORD? To obey is better that sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams. For rebellion is like the sin of divination, and arrogance like the evil of idolatry.” Wow! I hear God saying that we cannot, as Saul tried to do, hide our rebellion and arrogance against God by cloaking it with religious trappings, even legitimate articles of worship. Disobeying God and then trying to include the product of that disobedience in our worship of God does not in any way change the fact that we disobeyed God. Sounds simple, but I think we fall prey to this kind of self-deception more often that we realize. Thanks for the eye opener!
