This verse fits me. The past few months, I’ve been calling on Jesus to stay by me. He does, and I thank Him.

Looking at this verse again today I saw something cool…

When God delivers us, He does it in such a way that He is glorified! Glorifying the Lord is not something we can generate ourselves, therefore the end of this verse cannot be a command to give glory to God - there is nothing about our strengths and methods thats good enough to cause people to see the glory of God… but when God does something to us or through us, because He is behind it, it shows His glory!

“you shall glorify Me” is not a command but a statement of fact!!

Have something to say about this?
