Romans 13:3

For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil.

Do you want to be unafraid of the authority?

Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same.

  1. John Says:

I am on permanent disability. I had an opportunity to work two four hour days per week for a company and am trying to do it. I reported my new income to the Disability Authorities and now my main disability income is being reviewed and has been stopped. I have been resting in the confidence of the verse that says “If God is for me who can be against me”, but now I have another one to rest in. This verse lets me know that I did the right thing in reporting my income. Even if it has jeopardized my main source of income, I did the right thing. The “Authorities” will do what is right also.

  2. Pasta G Says:

    John,

It’s God we trust – not the authorities anyway! Even if the Authorities don’t do what’s right God is judge.

Take a look at psalm 73 – that always encourages me when I feel like I’m alone in doing the right thing.
