One Response to “Psalm 4:4-5”

  1. Jeff Bennett Says:

From my experience, anger can be a motivational tool. When something makes me angry, especially in church, I am motivated to try to change the situation. I feel that we must think about the situation and then react in a Christlike manner to try to make it better.

Just to give an example… A few years ago, I started attending a new church. After several months of attending, I realized the church did hardly any community outreaches. Although I was not angry to the point of sinning, I was agitated that we were not actively involved in the community. That was 2 years ago, now we are extremely involved in the community. We help support several community initiatives that help those living around us. Not only are we supporting the physical needs of people, but we are spreading the good news of Jesus Christ.

When something makes us angry, it’s obvious we don’t agree with the situation. Let anger be a motivation for positive change.
