Isaiah 48:10 - Triple Play :-)
God says:
“Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver;
I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.”
Isaiah 48:10
Reading this verse this morning immediately made me think of this one:
“The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold, But the LORD tests the hearts.”
Proverbs 17:3
My thoughts this morning are on how the Lord tests our hearts, but does so through the afflictions we suffer – which brings to mind what James said:
“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”
James 1:2-4
Have a productive Monday!

“A threefold cord is not easily broken.” A matter is established on the basis of 2 or 3 witnesses. The strength of the word of G-d, second only to the fact that it is backed by the L-rd of Heaven, is that it provides us multiple witnesses to prove its efficacy - all to the glory of the Almighty!
(PS I like the triple amen thing! lol)
